SERVICES WE OFFER

Please refer to FAQ page for information on which health insurers we are registered to work with.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

We offer therapy for a wide range of mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns, including anxiety, depression, low mood, stress, OCD, phobias, PTSD, and adjustment to life changes or physical health issues. Our individual therapy sessions are available to adults aged 18 and over.

Therapy begins with an initial assessment where we gather information to understand your current situation and the factors contributing to it. Together, we’ll set clear therapeutic goals and create a personalised treatment plan using evidence-based psychological approaches tailored to your needs.

Our Clinical Psychologists are trained in several therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and compassion loop-focused techniques.

Sessions are offered face-to-face in Edinburgh or online for your convenience.

Session details:

  • Format: Face-to-face or online

  • Duration: 50 minutes

  • Fee: £120 per session

When using medical insurance, fees will typically follow our standard rates unless your insurer specifies otherwise.

Small Group Brief Trauma Intervention (G-TEP)

This is a structured, evidence-based group approach designed to help people process recent difficult or traumatic experiences. Using the G-TEP (Group Traumatic Episode Protocol), an EMDR-informed method, participants are guided through a gentle, step-by-step process that supports emotional processing, reduces distress, and helps build resilience.  There is no talking about the trauma in the group, instead processing is done through a guided worksheet process combine with EMDR bilateral stimulation techniques.

It can be used as an early intervention following a recent event, or to strengthen coping and recovery in the weeks that follow.

G-TEP can be helpful for:

  • Couples or individuals following a difficult birth experience

  • Healthcare teams or small groups exposed to a shared stressful or traumatic event

  • People who’ve experienced an accident, medical event, or work-related trauma

  • Anyone looking to stabilise and strengthen emotional wellbeing after a challenging incident

This is a brief, focused intervention, not a substitute for individual therapy. It can, however, be a valuable step toward recovery, or a way to support resilience while deciding whether further therapy is needed.

Session details:

  • Format: Face-to-face (Edinburgh) or online

  • Duration: 90 minutes

  • Fee: £80 per person, max 3 per group.

    - For larger groups or organisational sessions, pricing is available on request. These sessions are co-facilitated by two trained facilitators and tailored to the specific needs of the group.
